Low Fat Green Smoothie Recipe

Green Smoothies are healthy shakes, normally low in fat, often incorporated into healthy eating or weight loss plans. The calories in these weight loss smoothies tend to be low.
By blending green leafy vegetables such as spinach with fruit, water, fruit juice or ice you can easily make a healthy, low calorie drink. A typical ratio of ingredients in a green smoothie is about 60% fruit to 40% leafy greens, to give a good balance of nutrition.

Ingredients
- 70g avocado
- 1 x 125g pot natural yoghurt
- 1 apple
- 100ml water
- 10g watercress
- 1 tsp fresh mint
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
Method
- Core and chop the apple.
- Whizz all ingredients except Tabasco in a blender till smooth. If too thick, add a little more water.
- Add a few drops of Tabasco to taste.
