Apple and Cinnamon Muffins

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Spread, Low-Fat, Average
  • 2 oz Sweetener, Low Calorie, Splenda
  • 2 Egg/112g Eggs, Medium, Average
  • 300 ml Milk, Semi Skimmed, Average
  • 12 oz Flour, White, Self Raising, Average
  • 10 g Cinnamon, Powder
  • 150 g Apples, Cooking, Raw, Peeled
  • 1 Apple/150g Apples, Dessert, Organic, Tesco

Method

Pre heat oven to 200 degrees or gas mark 6.

Peel and dice apples.

1. Place margarine, sugar, eggs and milk in a bowl and bean until light and fluffy.

2. Lightly fold in flour and cinnamon

3. Stir in the diced apple and spoon into 12 muffin cases in a muffin tray

Bake for 20-25 mins and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Comments

Nice fruity chunks, classically balance by the cinnamon. Sweet and very tasty.
