Spicy Potato Wedges Recipe

Potato wedges make a great component to a lot of dishes, so try out this recipe to spice up your meal! Not only are these wedges low calorie, they’re also super easy to make and very low in fat!

  • 227g baking potatoes
  • 5g Chinese five spice paste

Method

Preheat oven to 220°C / Gas Mark 7 / 425°F

  1. Cut the potato straight down the middle, then slice into wedge shape slices. Par-boil in lightly salted water for 10 minutes, then turn off but leave in the hot water.
  2. 15 minutes later drain the wedges, spread across a non-stick baking tray. sprinkle with ground spices of your choice then spray with low cal oil spray.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or til they're the brown colour you prefer. Enjoy!
