Perfect for any meal, these roasted parsnips make a great addition with a sweet sugary touch.

Ingredients

  • 100g parsnip
  • 4 Sprays/0.8ml low calorie oil spray
  • 1 Tsp/5g maple syrup

Method

  1. Heat oven to 220C
  2.  Peel and quarter parsnips
  3. Part boil for 7 minutes
  4. While parsnips are boiling, spray oil into baking tray and heat in the over
  5. Place parsnips onto hot baking tray when boiled and cook for 35 minutes
  6. After 35 minutes, take parsnips out of the over, drizzle maple syrup over parsnips and cook for a further 10 minutes
