Dried Fruit Flapjack Bars

These make a great snack for that mid afternoon slump or to put into the kids lunchboxes. Homemade, healthy and tasty!

Ingredients
- 150g spread, low fat
- 75g brown sugar
- 75g honey
- 225g porridge oats
- 25g raisins
- 25g apricots, dried
- 25g cranberries, dried
- 1 pinch salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 150C
- Melt the spread, sugar and honey in a saucepan gently. Make sure not to let it boil. Remove from the heat.
- Stir in the porridge oats, dried fruit and salt and mix thoroughly, press mixture into a baking tin.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown, remove from the oven and cool before slicing into 8 pieces.
