Rhubarb Crumble WLR Recipe

This crumble is so easy to make, sit back and wait while it gets crisp and juicy in the oven. At only 190 calories you don’t have to feel guilty about how good this tastes.

  • 454g rhubarb
  • 140g strawberries
  • 24g caster sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 56g plain wholemeal flour
  • 56g oats
  • 56g low fat spread


Preheat oven to 180°C / Gas Mark 4 / 350°F

  1. Wash and slice the rhubarb.
  2. Toss the rhubarb with the strawberries , sugar, cinnamon and orange juice. Tip into a 2pt (1.2L) dish.
  3. Make the crumble. Combine the flour and oats in a bowl and mix in the low fat spread.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
