Cheese, Pesto & Tomato Crusty Roll Recipe

A classic lunch that is great for picnics or family outings, this crusty roll is low calorie and only takes 15 minutes to make. It tastes great if you bake it in the oven so the cheese melts.

Ingredients
- 1 crusty wholemeal roll
- 30g mozzarella
- 15g green pesto
- 20g ripened on the vine tomatoes
Method
- Cut the crusty roll in half.
- Grate the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread each half of the roll with the green pesto.
- Place the cheese and tomato into the roll.
It tastes even better if you wrap it in foil & bake it in the oven for 25 mins.
