Caprese Salad (Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella)

You don't need fancy ingredients to make a delicious salad - our classic Caprese simply uses tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. For the fullest flavour, look out for ripe tomatoes and serve at room temperature...

- 5 basil leave
- ½ x 125g ball mozzarella
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Chop up the basil, mozzarella and tomatoes.
- Combine the olive oil and balsamic vinegar and drizzle over the salad.
- Good with plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
