Avocado, Tomato & Mozzarella Salad Recipe

This low calorie recipe works great as a starter for a meal or a lunch. It’s so quick and easy to make and incorporates almost 2 of your 5 a day – so a great snack to have mid morning to keep you going through the day. Avocados are ripe and in season all year round in the UK so it’s a perfect snack for any season!

  • 65g tomatoes
  • ½ small avocado
  • 5g fresh basil
  • 25g mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar


  1. Prepare the tomatoes and avocados and slice.
  2. Tear the basil and mix in with the tomatoes.
  3. Slice or grate the cheese and add to the salad.
  4. Sprinkle over the balsamic vinegar.
