Vegetables with Wholemeal Pasta Recipe

A low calorie pasta recipe that is great for lunch or for a quick dinner. Simple in flavours but still delicious & as it’s so low in calories you can enjoy a side of salad or garlic bread.

  • 2oz/56g Penne, Fresh, Wholewheat, Healthy Living, Tesco
  • 2oz/56g Peppers, Orange, Sweet, Raw, Average
  • 1 Carrot/50g Carrots, Raw, Tesco
  • 56g Courgette, Raw, Average
  • 1 Serving/4g Spring Onions, Tesco
  • 45g Onions, Red, Raw, Average
  • 1oz/28g Cheese, Cheddar


1. Place pasta in boiling water and boil until ready (approx 15 to 20 minutes)

2. Chop up the veg place in a hot oven and roast for aproximatly 20 minutes (everything should be done by the time the pasta is ready.)

3. Mix pasta and veg and put a tiny bit of grated cheese on top if you wish.
