A fantastically simple Dhal Recipe!. It is low calorie and provides plenty of Protein not to mention that its so quick and easy to prepare and cook. It’s a nice and warming recipe and packed full of goodies too.

- Calories: 282
- ½ medium onion
- 6g garlic
- 150g dried red lentils
- 2 tsp bouillon powder
- 284.15ml water
- 150g tinned tomato
- 1g curry powder
- Roughly chop the onion and crush the garlic.
- Put lentils in saucepan with water, onion, garlic and bouillon powder. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and curry powder and simmer for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add a bit more water if the mixture gets too thick.
