Creamy Home Made Fish Pie Recipe

Treat yourself to this lovely homemade fish pie. At just under an hour to make it's not too labour intensive but the reward is worth it! It's low calorie and makes a super-healthy meal served with some lovely fresh veg like broccoli, green beans or garden peas.

Ingredients

  • 700g potatoes
  • 400g cod fillets
  • 5 sprays oil
  • 100g peeled prawns
  • 400g frozen peas
  • 1 x 38g pack Schwartz parsley and chive sauce mix
  • 500ml semi skimmed milk
  • 10g butter
  • 3 tsp wholegrain mustard

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C / Gas Mark 4 / 350°F

Peel potatoes, put on to boil for mash.

Cut cod into pieces. Spray bottom of an ovenproof dish with oil, spread fish pieces over, top with prawns, peas.

Make sauce with 450ml of the milk. Mash potatoes with butter, 50ml milk, mustard.

Pour sauce evenly over fish, top with mash.

Bake for 35-40 mins.
