A lovely low calorie, non-alcoholic cocktail with a refreshing citrus kick.
- 4 glasses
- 50 mins
- 1 litre water
- 340g clear honey
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 lemon
- 1 orange
- Bring the water, honey, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon to a boil in a non-metallic pan.
- Slice the orange and lemon.
- Stir until honey is dissolved. Use a wooden spoon to skim off any skin that forms at the top of the brew.
- Add lemon and orange slices, squeezing as they are placed in the pan. Cool completely.
- Strain & refrigerate.
Serve with a sprig of fresh mint
