The Caipirinha cocktail is national to Brazil and has a great citrus kick! It’s so quick and easy to prepare and perfect for a hot sunny day.

  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 50ml spiced rum

Method

  1. Cut lime wedges.
  2. Add the lime wedges and sugar to a glass.
  3. Press down on the lime wedges and sugar in a highball glass using a muddler to extract juices and flavour.
  4. Fill the glass with ice.
  5. Pour the rum into the glass.
  6. Stir thoroughly.
