Chicken Chaat Recipe
This traditional Indian dish is low fat and comes together in around 25 minutes. It's low in carbs and calories too so you can have that authentic Indian feel without takeaway tummy. Eat it with cauliflower rice or a raita if you're trying to stay low carb.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 1g ground cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin seeds
- 10g reduced sodium salt
- 9g garlic
- 500g smooth passata
- 50ml fresh lime juice
Method
- Dice chicken and dry fry until browned.
- Add spices, lo-salt and garlic, stir to coat over medium heat (careful not to burn or garlic will be bitter).
- Pour over passata stir well and simmer 15-20 mins until thickened and chicken cooked through. Remove from heat and add lime juice.
Good served with brown basmati rice and fat free natural yoghurt.
