A simple twist on scrambled egg. Quick and easy to make and low in calories, why not try adding some porridge oats to make a healthier meal that will keep you fuller for longer.

Ingredients

  • 1 small egg
  • 85g fresh tomatoes
  • 5g butter
  • 1 thin sliced wholemeal bread

Method

  1. Beat the egg and season to taste.
  2. Chop the tomato and stir into the egg.
  3. Melt the butter in a small pan, toast the bread.
  4. Scramble the egg and tomato to taste, pile onto the toast and enjoy.

A quick and easy breakfast, why not stir in a tablespoon of ground linseed or porridge oats to make a healthier alternative and add some slow digesting carbohydrate for sustained energy throughout the morning (but remember to add another 50.5 calories).
