Ingredients

  • 75g English Cox apples
  • 25g porridge oats
  • 150ml semi skimmed milk
  • 50g greek style honey yoghurt
  • 6g sugar

Method

  1. Grate the apple (no need to peel).
  2. Add grated apple to saucepan with the oats and milk. Bring to boil, and simmer for 6-7 minutes, stirring continuously. You may need to add a drop of water if it gets a bit too thick.
  3. When cooked, tip into a bowl, and sprinkle with the sugar, and then a dollop of Greek style honey yoghurt. Stir once or twice before eating! YUM!

It's only a small amount of oats, but the apple bulks it out nicely.
