Apple, Sultana & Cinnamon Porridge Recipe

Quick and easy to make, and low in calories, this warm spiced porridge is ideal for those cold winter mornings. The perfect way to start any day off.

- 1 medium apple
- 130g dry porage oats
- 50g sultanans
- 400ml whole milk
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Bring a kettle to the boil. Peel, core and grate the apple.
- In a saucepan, mix together the porridge oats, grated apple, sultanas and milk. Stir in the cinnamon and add the water.
- Bring to the boil, stirring frequently.
- Turn down the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, adding more water from the kettle if it gets too thick. Simmer for a little longer if the mixture is too runny.
