Bolognese Sauce Recipe

This low calorie Bolognese recipe should be a staple in any household. Serve it with rice or pasta for a great complete meal. Try adding different herbs and spices for a bit of an experiment.

- 500g lean beef steak mince
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 10g tomato puree
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 vegetable stock cubes
- ¾ pint water
- Fry the mince until browned, add oregano, ginger, tomato ketchup, tomato puree and Worcestershire sauce and fry for a few minutes.
- Dissolve stock cubes in boiling water and add to the pan and simmer for about 20 mins.
Serve with spaghetti or pasta (remember to add extra calories).
