Packed to the brim with protein, this venison burger recipe is quick and easy to make and it's something just that little bit different for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500g venison steak
  • 125ml skimmed milk
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • ½ onion
  • 3 tbsps fresh parsley
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Method

Turn on the grill to a medium heat.

  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in the milk. Finely mince the venison.
  2. Place the minced venison into a large bowl. Add the parsley, onion, egg yolks, breadcrumbs, salt & pepper and mix thoroughly. Cover & put in the fridge until you are ready to cook.
  3. Shape the burgers onto rounds and cook under a preheated grill for 10 minutes until browned.

Serve with a fresh green salad.
