Sprouts in Garlic Butter

A little something different for a Sunday roast! These tasty sprouts are full of flavour and less than 65 calories per portion!

Ingredients

  • 35g butter
  • 250g Brussels sprouts
  • 150g button mushrooms
  • 20g parsley
  • 3g garlic
  • ½ lemon, juiced

Method

  1. Trim the sprouts and boil or steam for around 10 minutes until tender. Strain and put to one side.
  2. Crush the garlic and add to the butter, melt over a medium heat before stirring in the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Once the mushrooms have browned toss in the sprouts, sprinkle with parsley and squeeze over the lemon juice.

Serve immediately.
