Enjoy a traditional English dish with this low calorie, low carb bubble and squeak recipe.

Ingredients
- 227g cabbage
- 100g boiledsprouts
- 454g potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp/ black pepper
- 6 tbsps vegetable oil
Method
- Chop the cooked vegetables
- Mash the potatoes
- Add cabbage, Brussels’ sprouts, salt and pepper to the mashed potato and mix well. Divide the mix into six equal patties.
- Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serving suggestion:
Bubble and squeak is traditionally served with cold ham or other meats.
Why not try adding a boiled or poached egg to the mix for a really filling meal? Don't forget to add the calories though!
