Let’s face it; diets are incredibly boring and it’s hard to stay motivated long enough to make much difference. Hardly surprising when you consider that most diets are long on depressing lists of tempting stuff you can’t have, but short on excitement and inspiration. So how do you make sure you look and feel great by Christmas?

All you have to do to meet the challenge is join Weight Loss Resources and post news of your progress on the Christmas Challenge message board once a week, for seven weeks. That’s long enough for you to lose a stone and drop a dress (or trouser) size or two.

1x£1,000 ($1900) and 5x£100 ($190) in vouchers to spend at the clothes shop of your choice.

Everyone who meets the WLR Christmas Challenge will get one entry into the prize draw.

How to Meet the Challenge

Join* Weight Loss Resources and post news of your progress on the Christmas Challenge message board at least once a week, for seven weeks. This does not have to be seven consecutive weeks. A week runs from Monday to Sunday.

The last date for posting messages to qualify for the Christmas Challenge is Sunday 14th December 2008. This means you must post your first message before midnight on Sunday 2nd November 2008 to be in with a chance of meeting the challenge. You can join the challenge after this date, but will not be eligible for prizes.

*Membership to Weight Loss Resources is available from £6.95 per month. You can try it out free for 24 hours.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1 Prizes

There is a first prize of £1000 ($1900) in vouchers, and five runners up prizes of £100 ($190) in vouchers. Vouchers can be for any clothing retailer from which gift vouchers are available, and individual prize value can be split between vouchers from different clothing retailers. A cash alternative may be substituted for voucher prizes. The first prize will be awarded to the first name drawn from eligible entries and the runners up prizes will be awarded to the next five names drawn. The draw for prizes will be made in the presence of an independent witness.

2 Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the prize draw you must join Weight Loss Resources as a full member and meet the Christmas Challenge criteria: by posting messages about your progress on the Christmas Challenge message board, in at least seven of the weeks running up to Sunday 14th December 2008. These must be new messages; replies to messages will not be counted. If you are already a member of Weight Loss Resources you will be eligible for the prize draw provided you meet the challenge of posting messages about your progress as above. You must be aged 18 or over at the time of joining the challenge. Employees of Weight Loss Resources Ltd and their families will not be eligible for the draw.

A list of the User IDs of members who have met the Christmas Challenge, and who will therefore be entered into the draw, will be published on the Weight Loss Resources web site from Monday 27th October 2008. This list will be updated weekly with the IDs of members who become eligible each week.

3 Closing Date

The last date for posting messages that will be counted towards your eligibility for the draw is Sunday 14th December 2008. Messages posted after this date will not count towards your eligibility for the draw. This means that you must start posting your messages onto the Christmas Challenge message board by week ending Sunday 2nd November 2008 at the latest. For the purposes of the Christmas Challenge a week runs from Monday (day 1) to Sunday (day 7).

4 Results

Winners will be notified of results on Wednesday 17th December 2008. The WLR IDs of the winners, and the county and country they come from, will be published on the Weight Loss Resources web site on Thursday 18th December 2008 along with a list of the WLR IDs of all members who were included in the draw.

The copyright to messages posted on Weight Loss Resources message boards resides with Weight Loss Resources Ltd. Messages posted, identified only by User ID, may be used in information and publicity material.
