Shape Up Ready for Summer

Challenge

MEMBERS' COMMENTS

To give myself a push I am looking forward to being slimmer in the summer, and not having to use the following techniques I have perfected over the years:

1. Not hide away in tent dresses/tops

2. Not hide behind my son in all hoilday photos

3. Not get chaffed thighs

4. Not be put to shame by flabby arms

5. Not have to delete all the fat photos of myself, from the camera

6. Wear at shirt on the beach (large)

I AM NOT:

Missing out on doing daytime beachy things with friends because I'm worried about wearing a bikini.

Getting upset because I look fat in all summery work clothes.

Staying in on a lovely day because it's 'too bright' outside and u can see all lumps and bumps clearly in short summer skirts!

Basically I AM NOT giving myself reason to have another summer thats not 'quite as good as it should have been' BECAUSE I WILL BE SLIM SLIM SLIM AND TONED!!! ;O)

Woohoo roll on summer!

Its good to keep positive, so this summer I WILL BE...

1. relaxing and exercising more

2. wearing my summer skirts with vest tops- no muffin top for me!!

3. buying a lovely dress for my prom... maybe a size 14? (all depends on the breasts!)

4. having lots of fun!!

Absolutely everything you said, substituting daughters for son! You could be me in Menorca last year. Wiped off a particularly gross pic of me with several chins shovelling ice cream down my throat! Wish I'd kept it for a before pic now!

A few things I will not be doing this summer

1. Buy more summer clothes in size 16 (I will be a 14)

2. I will not eat ice cream every time I see it being sold

3. Like you - I will not hide behind the kids when the camera comes out

4. I WILL NOT use my holiday as an excuse to put all the weight back on

I'll let you know how I get on - good luck everyone

1. I'm going to fit into the summer clothes that i couldn't fit into last year (but could the year before)

2. I'm going to regularly get my legs waxed

3. I'm going to wear the skirt and 2 pairs of shorts that I bought yesterday

4. I'm going to feel comfortable on the beach and by the pool when I go to visit my family

5. I'm going to have fun!

TORICLAREBEAR

1. I will sit up while wearing a bikini without clutching a towel around my flabby tummy

2. I will not collapse under the weight of my backpack because I will be fit enough to cope with it

3. I will not get a rash from my thighs rubbing together

4. I will not delete all photos of myself before anyone else sees them

5. I will wear what I want to, as opposed to what doesn't make me look fat

WHATKATYDID

To be able to wear everything in my wardrobe and not just the baggy stuff!

To not be afraid to wear skimpy stuff.

To not want it to be winter so I can hide under big fleeces and many layers!
