One month and a stone gone!

YAY!

That was my first milestone. I'm so pleased, this is really working for me. I've lost a bit more than I should, but it will be because of all the exercise that I simply wasn't doing before. I'm feeling better already, and hope this is an encouragment for anyone new who reads this.

Thanks for all the help and support you guys have given me and good luck to everyone!!

So so happy - have to share this with you

Morning all. Hope you've had nice weekends. I am sooooo happy this morning I just had to share why! (Bear with me - this may get rambly!)

  1. I have lost another 2 lbs this week!
  2. That means I have now reached my unofficial goal of 10st4lbs, which isn't my target but a significant milestone for me. (It was the weight I was when I got married)
  3. I saw lots of old friends yesterday who I haven't seen since last November, and they were all stunned at how different I look, and spent all day telling me how slim and healthy I look! (I've lost 1st3lbs so far).

The biggest bit for me though, which is what I really wanted to share with you, is how I've done it. For the last 2 weeks I haven't particularly been trying. I've filled out my food diary, but always after the event rather than trying to plan what cals I could / couldn't have. Basically this really means that having lost 2lbs a week for 2 weeks in a row that my body and head GET IT! Without major thinking about it, I have still managed to not really go over my weekly cals, I've done some exercise, and here I am feeling very chuffed.

THIS SITE REALLY REALLY WORKS! I am now totally comfortable that if I am unhappy or whatever I CAN go and have a tikka massala, naan bread, pilau rice & 4 pints of lager on one day if it helps. But as long as it really is a one off it doesn't matter! I don't need to feel guilty about eating food, as long as overall I'm healthy. This is such a step change in my thinking and it's great! Have a great Monday everyone. Keep at it - it really does make a difference! CHRISHTA

Well done on making your target Chrishta! That's great! RACHAEL REYNOLDS

A truly inspirational post! LUPILIZZY

Great to read such a positive message. I'm sure it will help us all start the week off well!

And well done you - you've done brilliantly! ANGEL

* * *

Well done! It's lovely to read such a cheerful message on a grey Monday morning. Sounds like you have a new way of life rather than being on a diet, which should be much more sustainable. KAHUDSON

Brilliant! You deserve to be chuffed. You'll have to treat yourself to something ;-) WILFLEINSDORF

Well done, nothing better than seeing someone you haven’t for ages and them telling you how great you look. Fantastic stuff! CHARLOTTECM
