Banana, Honey and Cottage Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

 

2 Slice/72.2g Bread, Wholemeal, Medium Slice, Hovis*

½ Med/59g Banana, Raw, Average

20.0 g Cheese, Cottage, Danone*

15.0 g Honey, Pure, Clear, Average

 

Method

 

1. On 2 slices of wholemeal bread: spread 1 slice with a thin layer of honey and the other slice with a thin layer of cottage cheese.

2. Then slice up a firm just ripe banana.

3. Place the banana on top of the slice with cottage cheese and then unite the with the slice with honey on top.

Comments

 

One of the most eagerly anticipated sandwiches, for a whole range of reasons yet there was generally only one response: "surprisingly nice". A good mix of flavours and not too sweet.
