Low Calorie Barbecue Competition

Send us your low calorie barbecue ideas and you could win a cool set of BBQ equipment.

Well, it looks like summer is more or less here, so for many it is now time for that much loved calorie minefield, the barbecue.

The offer of plates full of sausages and burgers can be too tempting to say no to, so with this in mind, we are launching a competition to find BBQ foods that no only taste great but don’t mean racking up thousands of calories with one meal.

Send us your BBQ dish and you could be one of 5 prize winners. In judging the competition we will be looking at calories in the recipe, taste, originality and how easy they are to cook. You can use the food diary in WLR to calorie count your creation. Try it free for 24 hours.

We will shortlist the 20 ideas that sound the most tempting and select the best five. The winning foods will be photographed and displayed along with their recipes on the WLR site.

So send in your ideas for BBQ chicken, burgers, sausage, salmon, kebabs or surprise us with something really different.

Good luck

Prizes

Creators of the best 5 recipes will receive a 19-piece stainless steel BBQ tools set.
