Tomatoes

Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A and C, potassium and folate, all necessary for good health.

Lycopene is the most researched ingredient in tomatoes and tomato products. Lycopene is a strong antioxidant which helps our bodies to fight against age related damage. Lycopene is the chemical that gives tomatoes their red colour; it is also present in peppers, watermelons and apricots. It is more easily absorbed by our bodies when tomatoes are eaten in cooked form. Tomato juice is an excellent source of Lycopene.

Tomatoes are also very low in calories!
