Helpful Hints
Meze are a good
choice. Lots of small dishes to pick at, choosing what you
want to eat. Many are healthy options… houmous, olives,
tsatziki, taramasalata…
Greek
restaurants can produce wonderful salads - go for it!
Fish dishes are
a speciality - go for grilled or baked fish
Lamb and
chicken shish kebabs contain less fat than a doner
kebab
Avoid
Be careful you
can be swamped with courses
A meze is often
sufficient
Main dishes can
be a very rich and very filling - think calories!
