PRESS RELEASE MAY 2005

Get Fruity and Veg it Up

May 2005 is the month to really focus on adding more fruit and vegetables to the daily diet.

WLR’s ‘Get Fruity & Veg It Up’ 5 week challenge starts in May coinciding with the World Cancer Research Foundation’s Fruity Friday on the 9th May and the National Vegetarian Society’s annual National Vegetarian Week, 23rd to 29th May. The aim, all round, is to drive home the message that by eating at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day you can lead a healthier life and help to prevent the onset of life-threatening diseases.

The ‘Get Fruity and Veg it Up’ Challenge will give readers information on the health benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables and ideas, tips and hints on how easy it can be to stick to the 5 a day quota. This will make it a valuable and attainable Challenge.

Those taking part in the Challenge are invited to join members on the Get Fruity & Veg It Up Challenge board posting news of their progress and achievements each week. WLR Challenges are renowned for motivating people to adopt better eating habits to spur on goals to become slimmer, healthier and fitter. Our members always show friendship, support, help and advice to anyone joining a Challenge.

Readers are invited to take advantage of a free, three-day trial at www.weightlossresources.co.uk. Free information packs are available from the address below.
