Cheesy Broccoli

Ingredients
500g Broccoli
25g Reduced Fat Butter
250ml Semi Skimmed Milk
25g Plain Flour
50g Fresh Wholemeal Breadcrumbs
100g Half Fat Mature Cheese,
Grated
Method
- Prepare broccoli and place in boiling water cooking
until tender.
- Drain and place in an ovenproof dish.
- Put flour, milk and butter in a pan and bring to the
boil, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes, whisking
all the time.
- Stir in the grated cheese and season with a little
salt and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the broccoli and sprinkle with
breadcrumbs.
Grill until the top is golden. |
