HydroActive Women’s 5k Challenges

Help the Hospices has a number of places still available for the HydroActive Women’s 5K Challenges, which are taking place simultaneously on Sunday 4th September at three locations – London’s Hyde Park, Birmingham City Centre and Liverpool’s Sefton Park. These are Events with a capital ”E” – huge field of runners, loads of spectators, great atmosphere. All three runs begin at 11:00am and cover 5 kilometres (just over 3 miles) around circular courses.

The races are organised by the team responsible for the world famous London Marathon and designed for women runners of all ages, abilities and aspirations. Last year, more than 22,000 women raced in London’s Hyde Park and 5,000 in Birmingham city centre. This year, 5,000 runners are expected to take part in the first Liverpool 5K run.

If you would like to be part of this major event and fun day out, and can raise £250 (or more!) for Help the Hospices, then they would love to hear from you! Please register your details at www.hospicerunners.org.uk. They will send you a Guaranteed Entry Form to enter the race, and upon receipt of the completed form, you’ll receive a runner support pack and free Timex Chrono Sports Watch.
