Make history. Be part of the first run in Olympic Park and soak up the delights of Stratford Park, West Ham Park, The Greenway and Stratford town centre whilst you’re at it. 10km run starting and finishing next to Stratford Park on Sunday 7 March at 10:00 for runners of all abilities age 15 & over.

The Beast

The Beast is a Double or Quit trail race of approximately 5 or 10 miles. The course includes steep hills, water, mud, 32 obstacles usually tackled by animals of a 4 legged variety, hills, a couple of surprises, oh and did we mention water. The Beast takes place at Aylesford Equine X Country Course, Aylesford Farm, Shoby, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 3PF, click here for Google maps. The course is well signed and located off the A6006, 5miles from Melton Mowbray and 1 mile from the Six Hills junction.

Run Richmond Park Race Series

Our Run Richmond Park race series will be running on a regular basis over the course of 2010. They will take you around the superb parkland. There are a few hills but they make it more fun!! The runs will be a mix of 5k and 10k's. So get all your friends together and come and join us. Each race has very limited places so make sure you sign up early to secure your entry.

Very flat, smooth tarmac roads and paths. The start point and race registration area is at the west side of the lake opposite end from the club boat house. Once you have entered the lake you will be marshalled in to the one way car parking system. Please do not arrive before 11:30.The 10km run is 2 laps. The 5km course is one lap, finish at the 5km sign. The course is 100% accurate with markers every kilometre. Chip timing will be in operation for accurate splits and finish times. The course is well signed and marshalled and all finishers will be given a goodie bag & Other sponsors products.

We are pleased to announce that 2010 sees the 20th year of The Sussex Beacon Half Marathon. Started by the local running clubs of Brighton & Hove back in 1990 the event is now organised by The Sussex Beacon, a Brighton based clinical care centre for men and women living with HIV/ Aids. With a route that encompasses all the fantastic aspects of Brighton & Hove it is an event not to be missed whether you are competing or just watching. If you’re running the race why not raise money for charity at the same time?

The Harrow Hill Road Race

In addition to age category prizes there are two unique King/Queen of the Hill awards for the first man and woman to pass the crest of the Hill on the first lap. To be eligible you must finish the six mile race! The current male/female course records are 31.51 mins and 35.26 mins respectively.

In past years ago we have provided a liberal dose of fallen trees, sometimes some excellent mud; only time will tell what this year's special attraction will be. Otherwise the course is unchanged!

The route is mainly through rural areas and is testing in places. It is fully mile marked and will be controlled by both the Police and marshals. There will be 3 drink stations at approximately 4, 8 and 11 miles. If for any reason a runner drops out, they will be picked up by a sweep vehicle which will follow the last runner.

Reading Roadrunners in conjunction with Asics and Sweatshop are pleased to announce the Bramley 2010 will take place on the 14th of February 2010, at Bramley Primary School, RG26 5AH and will be held under UK Athletic rules. Age limits are 18 years for the 20 mile race and 16 for the 10 mile race.

Weather permitting we will be returning to our 2008 challenging course of mixed terrain with a surface of turf and tarmac. Friends and family can watch your progress from numerous viewing points none better than the main grandstand.

Cardiff 10k Valentines Love Run

The annual Valentine's Love Run will take place this year in London, Newcastle, Manchester and Cardiff. The 10K race will be timed using champion chip timing. (Please note in order to be guaranteed a timing chip you must register. Entries on the day will not be guaranteed a timing chip). The 5K run is an untimed family fun run, you can even do it in fancy dress! The event is organised by the charity Action Duchenne and is committed to raising awareness and funds for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Your entire registration fee will go to the Charity and we will ask you to raise as much as you can by getting sponsorship for taking part in the event. Your sponsorship will make a real difference to the thousands of boys living in the UK with Duchenne. If you sign up you will have a great day for a great cause.

The Falcon Flyer 26

The Falcon Flyer has been organised by the Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Tam for over 25 years. The event is one of the teams major sources of funding. The route and date for the event will be changing for the first time at the 2010 event. The idea of the route change is to remove some of the road sections and the long drag through the often boggy Jugger Beck.

Chichester Priory 10k

The Road Race starts at the just outside the Northgate Car Park, next to the Chichester Festival Theatre at 11.00am. The route goes east towards Portfield, and then turns north by the Chichester Park Hotel, close to the eastern end of the A27 Chichester by-pass. At approximately 5km, the route skirts Goodwood Aerodrome and Racing circuit, along the Lavant Straight towards East Lavant, where it crosses the River Lavant and turns south back towards Chichester. The last part of the route approaches the Festival theatre to the finish.

This is the 5th Bookham 10k run including 285m of ascent and descent passing through some of the North Downs' most fabulous scenery, with great views. Likely to be very muddy! The event will suit those who want a new challenge, people looking for an alternative to running marathons, those training for event Marathon Des Sables or anyone who loves seeing the beautiful English countryside.

The Heartbreak Half Marathon

The race will start in The Borough, Downton and continues along Moot Lane to Hale, Castle Hill and Woodgreen then retraces the route back to the finish in Downton. All on-road (nb road open to traffic) on fairly quiet country lanes. Very scenic route, a few hills but not too demanding!

The Fourth Lakeside Canal Run

The 4th Lakeside Canal Run again starts and finishes at the famous Lakeside Centre a couple of weeks after the World Darts have taken place there - clearly a very different type of event to our multi-terrain run. The 8.2mile route takes runners out through Mytchett and Ash on a combination of forest paths and road and then returns along the Basingstoke Canal back to Deepcut.

Routes of 22 and 14.5 miles, catering for both walkers and runners. The demanding long route has over 4000 feet of climbing. The shorter walk is a less demanding circuit and provides a leisurely return along the canal to Mytholmroyd.

Simply Run Not the Roman IX

Sponsored by specialist on-line and retail runnning store SimplyRun, this will be the seventh running of this 12K event which replaced the popular long-standing Roman 9 road race, using mostly the same course. Ideal race at a quiet time for races early in the New Year to 'kick-start' training for London Marathon and other Spring races. Due to limited parking facilities, and for safety considerations on the course, there is a limit of 700 with no entries on the day.
