Organised byNGO Medecins du Monde, a charity that provides healthcare for vulnerable people around the world, caring for young and old, from victims of earthquakes, to prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission from mother to child.

Great Langdale

120km

Starting from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Great Langdale. The route initially climbs over Loughrigg Terrace and descends to  Grasmere, from where it heads North through Keswick and climbs Whinlatter pass. From here the route heads East and South through Gosforth to Eskdale Green and the infamous Hardknott and Wrynose passes. 07/03/2009 - Snowdon Charity Bike Ride

Snowdon - 30 miles

The event is a bike ride of 30 miles on the roads around Snowdon, starting at the Cwellyn Arms in Rhyd Ddu, from where the event is organised. Riding on either day, cyclists follow a picturesque route via Llanberis, Pen y Pass, Nant Gwynant and Beddgelert before returning to the Cwellyn Arms for a Completion Certificate and a bowl of home made soup.
