What’s in Your Sandwich? Competition

Sandwich Competition Winning Recipes

Help WLR take a stand against soggie sarnies - and you could win one of our cool picnic packs

We make them for packed lunches, picnics, afternoon teas, convenient snacks to travel with and quick stopgaps to quell the hunger pangs. Where would we be without the good old sandwich?

To celebrate our love for sandwiches we are launching a competition to find the best tasting, most adventurous and different home made sarnie. So what do you fill your sandwich with? Do you have a firm favourite? And how many calories are in it?

Send us your sandwich recipe and you could be one of our prize-winning baker's dozen. The catch is, your sandwich must have 350 calories or less. You can use the food diary in WLR to calorie count your creation - try it free for 24 hours.

We'll shortlist the 20 sarnies that sound the most tempting, make them up and select the best baker's dozen (13).

The winning sandwiches will be photographed and displayed along with their recipe in the WLR web site.

Prizes

Creators of the best 13 sandwiches get a luxury two-person cooler bag which includes polycarbonate glasses and even a mobile phone holder!
